Anatate is the brain child of Dr. Jean-Leigh Kruger, born from her 13 years of experience teaching anatomy, histology and embryology to medical students.

"Students tend to study the text and then try to memorise the pictures in their atlas, and it's not the best way to learn and understand anatomy."

To address this, Jean-Leigh founded and created Anatate; a digital space for students that combines pictures and texts into unique annotated images.
